Our clay ranunculus tutorial has officially begun!
You can now watch this lesson in the Garden Course (our archive of past lessons).
I’ve uploaded the spring ranunculus tutorial video to the YouTube Membership area.
Ranunculus is a flower I’m drawn to make every spring ♪
With its many layered petals, the ranunculus isn’t just elegant—it also has a natural charm and delicate beauty that warms any room. It was actually the very first flower I made when I started crafting with polymer clay, simply because I love it so much.

There’s a wide range of colors to enjoy!
Ranunculus comes in such beautiful variety.
From vibrant shades like yellow and orange, to soft pastels like pink and peach, and even richer tones like deep purple, beige, and wine red—each color has its own unique charm. Just playing with color combinations is a joy in itself.Truth be told, the many petals make it a bit more challenging.

This particular ranunculus design has quite a lot of petals, making it a bit tricky and time-consuming to craft—but the sense of accomplishment when it's done is incredibly rewarding!
With my method, using a cutter and pasta machine really helps save time when making the petals. Plus, you can roll them out super thin for a beautifully delicate finish.
The tutorial videos show close-up shots of each petal being applied—first, second, all the way up to the final petal—so you can clearly see how and where each one goes.
You can pause, fast-forward, or rewind easily on YouTube, so it's convenient to follow along. Let’s practice together and level up your skills!
Our original ranunculus cutters are also available

The set includes both a sepal cutter and finely detailed petal cutters.

The veiner mold is currently in reproduction—thank you for your patience!
